Happiness is inside you. You don’t need to have a boyfriend of girlfriend to be happy. You don’t have to have a huge group of friends.
Become independent so that you don’t have to depend on someone else emotionally or physically. This will give you time to take control of your life.
Change your attitude and avoid people with bad attitudes and bad outlooks on life.
Find your own happy place. When you see things going downhill, you want to dig deep and find a place within you that makes you happy. If that means playing with your dog, gardening on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, reading or going to the beach.
Identify anything that will make you happy and start putting these things in your life more often.
Take time for yourself — go to the movies alone, get a pedicure, take a spa day, walk the beach alone, etc.
